The London Hardwood Club was established in April 1937 with its main function being:
"To hold a weekly luncheon for the purpose of exchanging information of common interest and to assist, by open discussion, or other means, in providing a solution to difficulties or problems encountered by any individual member or number of members"
Today, The London Hardwood Club remains a unique opportunity for everyone connected with the hardwood trade to get together informally and discuss relevant issues on a regular basis.
Meetings are currently held approximately every two months at the The Globe public house in Moorgate central London.
Prospective new members are always welcome. Annual membership is currently £55 per annum and the cost of each meal is currently £35.
